Behind the Scenes: Christmas Dragon Photoshoot… with a Furry “Assistant”

Every year I love creating and photographing my handmade Christmas dragon ornaments — but this time, I had a little "helper" in the studio. Meet Miru, my curious cat, who is absolutely convinced that every photoshoot is secretly arranged just for her entertainment.
While I was setting up the holiday scene for my new Christmas dragon figurines, Miru quietly walked in… and immediately began "helping" by inspecting (and occasionally trying to chew) the tiny props. 🎄🐉😹
Little pumpkins, holly berries, ribbons — everything became her new toy. Meanwhile, my dragons waited patiently while the chaos unfolded around them.
Even though taking product photos with a playful cat can be a challenge, these behind-the-scenes moments are part of the magic. They remind me why I love creating handmade fantasy art. Each tiny dragon, each winter ornament, and each festive detail is made with so much joy — and sometimes with unexpected help from Miru.
If you'd like to see the finished Christmas dragon ornaments, you can find them in my Etsy shop. They're all handcrafted from polymer clay, painted with acrylics, and designed to bring a touch of fantasy and holiday magic to your home. ✨
Stay tuned — I'm working on more winter dragons, behind-the-scenes photos, and maybe even more Miru bloopers! 😅🐾
